Introduction
At the Family Physicians of Iola, KS, we are dedicated to providing the finest possible healthcare for all members of your family.  We offer a broad spectrum of services--from pediatric, obstetric, and gynecologic care to adult and geriatric medicine. We are now adding Physical Therapy!

Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:

• Provides skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.

• Act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best

• Maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.

• Reducing the need for medications and providing alternatives to surgery

• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally

• Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Valid license to practice physical therapy in KS

• Prefer 2 years of experience, New Grads considered

• Intensive education and clinical expertise/ Current knowledge of treatment practices

• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Work Details:

• Full-Time (40 hours/week)
